Following graduation, Jim played Hockey at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York, where he averaged 20 goals per season.

Sheila continued swimming at the University of Maine, where she set school records in the 1,000-yard and 1,650-yard Freestyle.

After college, Sheila moved to Richmond, Virginia. She now resides in Mechanicsville, Virginia, just outside of Richmond, with her husband, Jerome. They have been married for almost 33 years. Sheila has taught elementary school for 36 years, and Jerome is in the computer business and has run his own business for the last 25 years.

Sheila & Jerome have a daughter, Chelsea, who is a high school counselor, and a son, Tanner, who is a football coach at Duke University.

Sheila and Jerome are enjoying empty nesting and spending time at the beach. She is looking forward to retirement in five years.
